    Adding caps to ESC

    here is how I added caps to all my ESC got them from Kintec.

    Whats the stock cap specs? I dont have any SV27 speedos laying around anymore to remember. You dont want to add a too much extra capacitance as it can create issues with noise in the esc. There was a recent thread about partial throttle operation where Andy Kunz specificaly mentions too much cap is bad. There is a trade off as to whats right and whats wrong. How much that is I dont know but there is a limit.

    But what you did looks good regardless. I have similar ideas with certain speedos on the shelf too. Just cant seem to find the time!

      Found it. One 470 mfd 25v cap.

        Looks like from the pictures you posted you have paralleled 2-1500mfd 25v caps? That means you increased the capacitance 6 times from stock? I wonder if thats an excessive amount?

          Not sure I know that with the long wires from battery to esc that I thought this would help.
