Hull reinforcment ????

Hey everyone how can i reinforce my hull without useing cf ??

Fiberglass cloth or Carbon or Kevlar. Only ways I know of....

Thanks what about covering the whole inside with epoxy ??

Wont really do anything but add weight. Strength comes from the fabric cloth, not the resin/ epoxy. So really you arent doing anything without some type of cloth.

A v hull is very simple to reinforce. You can even do it without removing the stringers if you really wanted to. But I would remove and re-install, perhaps existing if you can get them out w/ out damage. Othewise you can make new very easily.

Walley world has 6 or 8 oz cloth in the auto section cheap. One layer of this will add a good amount of stiffening with little weight. scrape the epoxy down...little is bettter.

I think I only need to re-inforce the transom i flipped it at 45.6 mph and it needs a lot of strengthening thx

I use 3/16" ply in the transoms. epoxy and clamped.
