    battery position

How does one remove the forward wooden "fence" that frames the batteries and the underlying piece that is flat on the hull?
I don't want to damage the fiberglass.
I would like to move my batteries forward, and of course keep them as low as possible.
    thanks,
    Glenn

I just used a flat head screw driver and some pliers, came off pretty quick and easy. After that I sanded down the excess glue and layed some velcro.

        Re-enforce

If you are going to remove the battery trays you should strip the boat down to the rails and re enforce and seal all the wood and the inside of the hull with some Z-Poxy it works the best. Add some 2" strips of glass or carbon to the sides of the hull thats the weak area in this boat.

factory glue for the battery trays is brittle.
they should pull right off with some pliers.

Yes. I carefully removed the trays with pliers. Thanks.
