    busted shaft

    has any one had this happen???? the solid part of the shaft were it meets the flex cable spins??? you can hold the flex cable and twist the solid part of the shaft????

    I ordered the upgraded flexshaft from kintecracing. Way better made than the stock. Not sure if this helps, but it works very VERY well. Good luck.

        Silver brazed is the way to go. Most use loctite and silver solder....as I did as well but now I sell these. Not fun to make but they do not fail.

        I have them on my site. You might send it to me and if it is clean enough I will braze it for you.

              that very same thing happened to a cable in one of the SV's at our club race yesterday. The replacement Steve has here is great...get 2 and you should be set for life.
