    Grimracer propeller

Hi, I'm new to the forum and do not speak English, just use the google translator, have patience, please.
2 months ago I bought a boat supervee 27 brushless, I am using the Turnigy Battery 25C 5000 mAh Lipo 2s, with the original prop works very well. About 15 days ago, I get an order from tower, and came a propeller GrimRacer L40x57 3-Bld Metal Prop AQUB9760, it does not work, cavitation occurs.
So progress is slow. Propeller which would you recommend me to use with battery lod data that the engine is still original.

    greetings

Gustavo, welcome to the forum. There are many propellers that have a much better take off speed. Graupner 2317.42 2317.45 or 2317.48(but with 2317.48 pay close attention to motor and esc heat. Also the metal Octura x642 or x445.

The Prop probably needs to be sharpened & balanced...

This is a very nice part. I received an Octura X445 prepared from OSE, very good job

I had the same problem with the 40X57/3. Bad cavitation with a sport hydro. It wouldn't even get on plane.

Has anyone had success w/this prop?

Gustavo-Are you running the SV 27 with the stock motor and with 4S lipos?

The 40X57/3 IS NOT recommended for the SuperVee 27..

            Its a lifting propeller.

The 42X55 is a MUCH better choice.

Hello everyone, thank you very much for the responses, I now have a little more clarity on the issue. I will buy some of the recommended propellers. As I'm building a super nitro f1 boat with a motor OS 21 XM, will probably work with this boat.

Again thanks for the prompt replies.

                    Greetings to all

                      Gustavo,

The 40X57/3 will not work on an outboard eather.

The 40X53 or 40X52/3 would be the correct props for the 21 XM

                          Grim,
We are currently running the 40x52 with the UL-1 motor right around 40mph. We did have an Ammo 36/50/2300 but the boat was out-of-control fast.
I hesitated to go to the 42X55 2-blade as I thought we might overheat (although I am running it on a VS-1 tunnel/UL-1 with great success).
