    SV27 ESC Won't Arm

My son just bought a new SV27 and out of the box the ESC will not arm...it just beeps continuously.
Does anyone know what's the problem?
    I let the dogs out...

How many cells are you running it on and are the batteries fully charged?

Trims on the radio need adjusting?

Yes, if you adjust the throttle trim just one "click" off zero it arms...now THAT's weird!

Another question: we seem to have to re-arm the ESC each time we connect the battery in order for the throttle to work...is that some sort of "safety" feature of this ESC?
