Hi gang - a lot of you have some amazing Supervees posted here. My question - where do you get the decals you all use?

Local Hobby shops sometimes have OK decals, but EBAY usually has decent decals www.towerhobbies.com also has decals. Or you could just do a custom paint job. Really depends what your looking for.
Thanks, but flaming maniacal skulls just isn't me - and I think I'm happy about that! My idea was to have a very thin line of flames down both sides of the hull, and then a V-shaped flame coming off the deck from the front of the boat down towards the cockpit. Nothing crazy, but just something that won't make my Supervee look like every other orange one in the water.

HAHAHA, Got it (Not my style either). If I come by anything I'll let you know.
What kind of paint and prep did you do to paint it? My hull has some fractures that I need to repair and then re-paint.
I used Testors paint, for prep work I used scotch brite pad (red) and scuffed up the hull, make sure you really get the corners and any bends really well. after that i used rubbing alchool to whip down the hull. The paint is kinda $$$ about 5 bucks a can and its not much paint but the results are wonderfull
diesel6401 - thanks for all the suggestions - the sides of the Supervee's hull don't allow for much width which is the main problem I keep encountering. Also, a Supervee 27 is, well, 27" long and most decals are too short. I just found a website named www.fastdecals.com and if you type in "flames" in their search engine I see that Flames 37 might work for the deck and that Flames 56 might be a perfect fit for my Supervee's hull. They also offer their decals in a blue chrome finish that could be hot (sorry, no pun intended).
pescedaro (Brian) - this year I manged to buy my Megatech Nirvana II sailboat, this Aquacraft Supervee 27 brushless, and Robert and I went halvers on a Vac-u-tug to rescue the other toys. Also, Robert picked up a white UL-1. We're both running NimH for now before we dive into the lipo deep end. My sailboat is still what gets me going, though.
