    SuperVee 8S?

So I'm super happy with my SuperVee, but it seems lite in my current setup. Since it's a 4S boat, can I run 2 4S packs in parrallel with the stock electronics? I was thinking that I would run a BEC, but everything else stock. I believe the weight would help the boat and the extra runtime would be cool...

Here is what I'm looking at:

I'm not trying to go insane, just getting ready to order new batteries and wondering what to do...

    Thanks

I ran 2 4s 2200mah packs in parallel on mine for the first 10 runs or so before I started buying some of the 2s5000mah packs. Everything ran great and the esc was fine.

You really shouldn't have to buy a bec....you are not increasing voltage, just amps. I think the weight would be good and may help to eliminate some of the weight that most folks add under the motor to keep the SV in the water using lighter lipos.

I went with the 2s packs because I can't charge anything above a 6s with my charger. I charge the 2 2s packs in series.

Thanks for the info. I've got two chargers, so I'm to charge two packs at a time. I'm going to give it a go...
