first time run the sv27 need some help

Hi any tips will be great... Here is whats happening:
lake smooth surface but when i am running the boat it stays out of water lifting the frunt than going back down slapping into the waters surface ... to cure this do i need to just bend down the trim tabs out back a little?
Also motor temp 109Deg ESC like 95Deg and batteries hot like 150ish deg (gp3900 stick packs)...My prop is the CF 45.

Any help will be great .... It was a blast to run though!
    THANKS
    Z

Or add some lead weights (3-6 oz.) just in front of the motor.

I don't get it...Why would you want to add weight?
I thought the rear trim tabs ajust how it rides on the water?

        Thanks

They do but that hull tends to bounce and flip alot. Adding weight and adjusting battery position helps with the handling alot.

ok thanks so i should take off the front wood section of the battery holder and put down more velcro so i can move them up to where it rides on the water better.

what about the angle of the rear rudder mine is how it can stock and so is the output to the prop anything that i could do here to make it run better?

            THANKS

Yeah you can add some more velcro and remove the front stops. I havent done anything to any of the rudders on my SV's. I run the strut neutral. I also use a sharpened and balanced X642 prop.

I dont know if thats too hot or not I have been using lipos. As far as props go I use Prather220 and Octura X642 and 445. All of these work well in different conditions. Just have to try out different battery positions with different props and water conditions. Someone amy be able to tell you if 150 degrees is too hot.

The cf45 prop is fine. Temps on the nimh batteries will depend on how old they are and how long you run the boat. Whether you add weight or not you need to get the CG to at least 8 inches from the transom. With Lipo and speeds around 40 mph the added weight really helps. For now just run everything neutral (strut, trim tabs , rudder) and get the weight forward. Fine tune it from there.
