    ESC Turn Limit???

Ok guys I have a spare 15t motor laying around still new in its package and I wonder is it possible to run this with the stock esc? What is the esc turn limit?

I highly suggest new esc, stock is garbage. I burned 2 of them up. To answer your question it is listed at 27t.

I think the weak link on this boat is the esc..

Yea UPDATE I ran this new boat today at the local lake and about halfway through my 4000mah 2s 25C lipo the esc gave out. So when I got home I realized wait a minute I have all the electronics out of my Apache 24 which is under construction right now so I did some soldering and moving of things and came up with this.......

It should do for now in a few weeks I am going to get a VXL3S system from my friend. And i will run that with a better cooling jacket on the motor with a 3s and see where it goes from there!

I think that may be to much kv for a apache. VXL motor is 3500kv correct? Anything above 30mh on a apache I read the hull cant handle. Good luck though, I would love to see if you can get it working right

Cool, glad it is working well for you. After I blew my second one I bought a waterproofed xl-5. A little more $$$ for a brushed esc but sometimes I don't mind paying for peace of mind.

Diesel here is one on a 3600kv motor and 3s everything else besides the esc of course is stock and it seems to be fine to me. Now keep in mind i understand it will need to slow down some before turning sharply but it seems to handle ok here......

                          You sure that's a 3600kv motor on 3s and a 42mm prop?
it is faster than stock but not 40k rpm.
