Guys reading.. here is what I like about this. Giorgio has taken it upon himself to make the most of what the boat offers. No silly mods or nutty voltage.

He has it TUNED FANTASTIC and does not expect more from the water then the boat is capable of. His turns are well thought out and only uses what power is needed when the pass looks good.

Giorgio.. you have my attention and my respect! VERY WELL DONE MY FRIEND!

        Gio,

I appreciate the trasom pics you posted. How much negative trim did you give the tabs? I have got mine at -2 degrees.

        Thx

I've been reading this forum trying to get my Revolt into the high 40s & today it clocked 46.6 & 47.8 mph. I had to take pictures of the gps for proof. Of course Murphy says only the 46.6 picture is readable but I think you can make out the 47.8 if you try.

The M545 prop is the one.

Mamba, As far as set up, I adjusted the strut to neutral. Checked with a straight edge on the bottom of the hull. This puts the bottom of the strut almost 1/4" above the bottom of the hull. I have upgraded the flex shaft and collet with the OSE units. I have not touched the trim tabs or turn fins. The battery I used is a Hyperion 4s 4200, all the way back in the tray. Scuffed the bottom with 1000 grit. That's it....
                  Great boat

                  Chip

Oh, and the M545 prop balanced & sharpened by me.

Nice Job today Chip. Cool little GPS you had. Glad I didnt ask for you to put it in my sport hydro. LOL

I know you were going for top speed today but is your strut adjustable up and down? If so, dropping it a touch will get her settled in the water a little better.

                        Hi guys
@girotron: I spent lot of time to totally eliminate Chime walk; the Key is both right trim tabs leveled at transom less 1mm or 2 depending by battery weight
Both left trim tabs same leveled 1mm less than right tabs.
Add 40g at the more external left side into the hull on the cog, the same of wheel cars,at this time my revolt auto shut off the chime walk if it engaged.

Hi Chipgibbs & Littledvl Nice to meet you on high 40's, yes m545 push very strong, if i can give you a suggest take a look at both ESC/motor temperature

                          Motor Temp

I ran at least 5 times today for 4 or 5 laps, or about 4 minutes. the only place I felt any heat was the battery connectors, and they really weren't that hot. Motor & ESC were barely warm.

Finally my browser quote! Chip did you have any change on cooling circuit? or only you file water inlet?today i began check both temperature every run and no more of 45-47°celsius for the motor and every time -2 for ESC, i ran with grim 45/68

                              Hope you enjoy Giorgio
