To add some more information. I was running 35.8mph with balanced and sharpened stock prop. With a 45x68 balanced and sharpened I'm touching 42mph, a solid 5-6mph gain. I only have 2s batteries at the moment. I like to stack them on top of each other and put them all the way rearward. The chain-walk is much less with them stacked. My next venture is a high quality 4s battery. Awesome boat!

Okay mine is running about the same now 35.2mph with stock prop. With the Prather 225 38.5mph it was to windy to get a right pass and its still to windy here but I am going to order the 45x68. 40+mph is my goal!!!

ever consider running 5s to get more speed? bigger props just make hulls handling characteristics worse

Not really up on the battery thing! What do you recommend?

Upgrade to t120 and run 5s with stock prop
