Would this be a good second boat. I have a Spartan, and was wanting another boat or two. Have a pond in the backyard. I just don't know which one to get. I've been trying to decide betweeen the revolt, impulse 31, motley crew, and mystic.

Hey Grim would changing the connectors on the esc and motor to the 5.5mm ones void any warranty?

I vote no.. I put changing to 5.5s in the manual so we could all benift from it.

It is not the pennies; it is the market that wants the standard so they can plug-n-play with existing batteries, chargers, etc., that are currently available. Had it my way no plugs would be included and let everybody install what they like to use. No choice in this matter. Better to have something (as long as it is good) than nothing.

We would still honor the warranty as long as it is not pushed past its ratings. btw; we can tell when that is done:)

Certainly... hence the EC3 battery leads on the "other" boats now... Apparently, this is a "standard" somewhere...

Anything to make it easier to get MORE people involved in boats is fine by me! Gotta grow this market!

Just picked up a Silver Revolt today at Great Hobbies,told the first one here in Ontario Canada what a beauty. (They have a red left) Can't wait to get it in the water tomorrow if the dang rain holds off !! A winner for sure.........

My LHS had 2 of them in stock when i was there shopping for another rtr. I ended up getting a sv27r because of the aftermarket support for parts and upgrades. I really wanted the Revolt but im laying off until its been on the market for a while.

IMO bad move..
the 27r is cool but his new hull is rockin and Grim has done his homework
