Question on new mini mono ordering today?

I about to order a minimono today from tower and i want to make sure this eon-x recommended from the aquacraft website will fit with no mods.

It is the 1600 mah recommended as an option in manual and on website.
Or should I just go with the xpd8 1000 for better fitment.I was wanting a lil lonfer runtime and want to make sure it will fit ok.

I suggest waiting untill the boat arives, and you can make mock ups with cardboard to see what fits. I have a Mini Rio, and it is sensitive to balance to get it to run right.
Why no mods? With just some minor ones, you could fit a larger bat, and not upset the ballance. You could extend the shelf that the battery sits on, easly done with a block of rigid foam you sculpt to fit.

It looks like they addredd one of my major gripes about the Mini Rio, and that it is so narrow. It likes to flip.
