man that water sure heats up quick huh? X( i wouldnt have thought that the water passing threw that quickly would heat up that quickly too. i could see if its the same water running threw the system over and over again and eventually it will heat up .... but its always fresh new water that enters the system.

Ima have to put the temp gun up to the out going water or the water thats left in the system when im done running the boat to check that out.
    BINGO..

We have a non re-circulatory water source… If the system was closed that would be much different.. lets face it.. our radiator… is the size of a pond.

      Will swap motor plugs

Thanks for the good info! Will swap motor plugs when I get home from family vacation.
Wanted to affirm that drilling out the plugs was easy and helped.

The current cooling set-up works fine. Adding one tube makes it better. My friends have nicknamed me BW since I am always looking for the Better Way

Well BW, remember the basic rule of performance modifications. Take something that's working OK and improve it until it doesn't work at all. At least that's what my tuner used to say.
