My Grimracer L38 x 55 moves UL-1 faster than my Grimracer 42 x 55.

just ordered my 38x55 (Yay, I got it right this time haha) from Steve, should be here Friday.. should be fun!!

Progress after 4 hours of balancing and filing an edge. I still have some more work to do.

4 hours! I spent maybe 15 min on my 40/57/3 when I got it and have around 50 miles on it now and still got 48.9 out of it this weekend in race setup. It's no where near sharp to the touch...but I'm afraid to mess with it.

48.9mph is a pretty darn good speed for only spending 15 minutes on it. Why are you afraid to mess with it? Just file on the front of the blades until you get a good edge. As long as you keep it balanced and don't deform the face/back of the blades it will be fine.
