Legg Lake is under NAMBA rules; no alcohol or funny stuff. Besides, I had nothing to drink today [ have to be home for Christmas] ;although it must be 5 O'Clock somewhere

Glad to see those Elite cells still holding up. I am going to be ordering a few sets for my boats soon.

Well you see Bro, the boat was going so fast that I had to go REEEEELY wide in the turns.
[ or maybe Jan forgot to reset ALL the data fields in the Truth-O-Meter ; reset choice #1 : reset max speed; choice #2 : reset all trip data]. You decide.

I recently got some of the 35C 5000 4S Elites for my P-Mono. ROCK and ROLL !! Also, Mike at CBP was right there when I had a small issue with one of the 2S packs. In all, highly recommended and very reasonably priced.

I reset only the max speed, all the other stuff has been there for ages.... the boat looked really fast, I would not be surprised if it was right at shown speed. For those out there that still believe that these cells do not make a difference on your setup, you are missing out.

Great news on those cells. What ESC? . I presume the original one is stellar?

well Douggie, dunno about "stellar" but it get's the job done.
we are trying to keep the stock electronics and motor for the
LSH class in our club and the race that is coming up in AZ.

Actually I had one stock ESC go funny on me; worked fine until under load. Hobby Services replaced it for me. Hence the cap board for some "insurance". Frankly I'd prefer to use a larger ESC, but WW V rules require the stock one. After the race I may just pop in my trusty 'ole watercooled CC80.

                            Not according to Dave Newland:

OPC: SV 27 motor and ESC

Spec rigger and LSH. UL-1, SV 27 or Blackjack motor. Any ESC.

I stand corrected ; ( actually I lean to one side sometimes). So now I'm wondering if there's any advantage to using the CC 80 ; is it compatible ? What settings ? Anyone ?
