    set-up question...

    hi guys,

i was wondering what kind of run times you guys are getting with the Grimracer 40x57/3 prop. thought it would be a good "sport" prop for 15min plus runs... what temps should i expect?

    thanks

15 minute run times are not realistic.

i ran mine with the stock prop with 5100mah 25c lipos it ran 6 mins i choppy i don't remember my temps but they were up there thats why i started using smaller mah lipos or cut the run time in half to keep things cool

I'm using the same setup you mention and can get 3ea 2-2 1/2 min runs. Try the 40-52/3, you will get about 4-5mph more than the stock prop and better run times than the 40-57/3.

yesterday i slightly enlarged the water pickup in my rudder, bored the hole in the rudder, bored the brass water inlets and thru holes in the esc plate. the result is MUCH better water flowing through the whole system. things stay quite cool running 2x2s 4000mah wide open till stutter. I am running in 20 degree water right now though!!

                Rum,

Are you planning on coming out and racing with us this year?

                Thank
                Mike

I sure would like to! I've got a pretty hectic schedule though. I usually run by myself (basher). no one around here into FE boats. oh well. the only advantage to where i live is the limitless ponds and lakes to run on. I will try my damndest to get out and run a couple of times with you guys though!
