Prop sharpening.

I am about to attempt my first prop sharpening and balancing. My question is, does sharpening a prop make it more or less likely to experience cavitation?

Probably less, but the blade size and shape has more to do with cavitation than anything else.

Thanks for the info. I have a two blade prop off my SonicWake V2 on my Aquacraft UL-1. It runs 43 mph now. I took off a 3 blade 3814 that ran the same speed. I figured this prop would be as good as anything else to test my sharpening and balancing lack of skill on.
