I made one out of .030 aluminum about a 20 degree angle and it helps quite significantly.

Just curious on placement. Am thinking about making one that sits on a ring that goes on the nose cone. Easily removed for sport racing and slap it on for SAW.

Was thinking about that but don't know. One good hop and a nose dive and it will send it to the mud faster. I like how it looks like that best though. Do you have a airdam as well?

yup pretty much altered everything on the boat...030 aluminum airdam that basically tapers the air channel on the bottom of the hull, the front wing, custom made turn fin, and reduced the angle of attack on the sponsons, put a support on the stuffing tube(custom), aligned the motor and coupler, put the batteries in the sponsons, and drilled the cooling holes entering the boat as to not limit the flow of water from the rudder to the electronics. My dad and I have done a lot of testing and tuning with it and next im gonna start messing with a bunch of different props. Ill give ya some pics as soon as i can. Right now i am running a 42x55 and it is the most stable ul-1 i have ever seen.
