    ul-1 sponson foam

Getting ready foam ul-1 the threads say to put 2oz in each sponson...should I do both at once or one at a time. Also just how far will this foam spread.
Also I have cut out sponsons to mount lipo's sideways I thinking about pouring the foam in and putting a release agent llke Pam on lipo's to let the foam form around them or should I cut the foam out after?

I pour foamed my UL-1 a few years ago and now I kind of wish I didn't because it's going to be a pain to carve it out now for putting the batteries in the sponsons.
It also caused some dimpling on the deck but nothing on the bottom. I read somewhere somebody else had the same problem.
I don't know if I would use the battery maybe a wood mockup covered in wax paper and a release agent, the foam is nasty it sticks to everything tape off everything before you pour. You don't have much time to pour it starts to expand right away. I had a cup where it set up as I was pouring it.
If you have it cut out already maybe just stuff it with pool noodle foam and use velcro for the batts?
