    UL-1 Prather B230 prop?

Anyone else had any luck running different largeer than stock props. Im doing some experiments of my own just looking for some input?????? Ive done some runs with the stock prop an Octura x435 and i decided to try the prather b230 it was much faster and after a 3-4 minute run the motor was about 120-130 degrees. But on the next run the stock bullets decided to do me a favor and unsolder them selves so after upgrading to 5.5 bullets i already had aquired i ran the boat it was faster just not sure of speeds havent used the gps yet still doing some prop testing. I have a problem nothing is ever fast enough for me!!!!!!

the b 230 is way too big for the ul-1 in my opinion......try a b 220 to start.....start small and work up not big and work down lol......saves alot of solder joints that way.....

They have both S and B series. S for stainless and B for bronze.

Edit: A good prop on a rigger for that motor is a M545 or a H7.

Prather props, compared against an Octura behave like the M or detongued series. Compare them visually. You will see a marked difference between the X series. Then compare them to the M series. You notice many similarities.

I tried the octura x435 first as i wasnt sure of the 2 blade prop to begin with this is my first FE and ive only ran it about seven times six were with the stock bullets and a strong wind out of the south on the pond so i have yet to run on really good water but im going to be a FE addict for the rest of my life already getting set for my second FE boat thinking about building a SAW style rigger?
