    lipos that fit ????

    any suggestions for hi mah hi c lipos for the UL1?

      take some measurements of your boat and then look at the different sites to see what will fit there are dimensions on the batteries on the web pages

          Without going too heavy I like the Hyperion 4s 3300mah packs. Wire two of them parallel 4s2p for a total of 6600mah. They will fit cross ways or inline with hull.

            Do the sponson mod and you will be able to fit most if not all 4S packs inside. I dont have a link to the modification but its here on OSE. The mod also reduces sponson walk at high speeds.

                  Cut openings in the sponsons and put the batterys in the openings, this will give you more stability a higher speeds, I did this with a 1500kv motor on 6s and it was great but nail biteing@ 63.3mph on gps, but I normally run 5s and will be going back to a stock set up and run 4s and see what the best speed I can get with different setups, I'm sure the best I could would be mid to high 50s, but spading the batterys does help with handling and room.
                  I run 5000 mah 40c-50c batterys
