All I know is that since I hit 50 it's been almost uncontrolable.

Sanding the hull for better performance of my UL-1

I was just curious if any one has tried any other methods of breaking the surface tension of the water like a clearcoat with really fine grit in it. Or would the surface of the grit actually defeat the purpose and cause an increase in surface tension just trying to think of an idea that doesnt involve sanding on a boat that i just bought i might do more damage than good. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

You're only lightly sanding the running srface. On a hydro, just the ride pads of the sponsons. Very high grit paper. You wont hurt a thing.

A few of us have had great success with the Spartan. I love mine.

What is the total amount of dues to reach the 60 mph mark was the hull reinforced with cf or heavier glass i would like to try this eventually Ican always pick up a replacement hull on the ose site if things turn ugly. IS there a video of this run?
