    ul-1 w/black jack 1500kv motor

Well i'm sure you all read the post about ul-1 62 mph but, so I put the BJ motor 1500kv in the ul-1 with a x645 prop on 6s and hit 63.3 mph with no issues, what a ride!
and after thinking about the last issue and burning through the motor wires I relized that the cooling line from the the rudder to the system was cut, I can only think that at that speed that the cooling hose blew down and hit the prop as the line was cut at an angle and that was possably the cause of the motor wires being burnt, (no cooling) to the system, mind you that this is only an asumption not a fact as I thought a 1800kv could handle 6s, and yes I could have over proped with the modded m447 cut down to a 446 and spooned/cupped.
so as I said, today I tried it again w/1500kv and x654 prop on 6s 63.3 mph and temps were all good.
I plan on getting a stock motor or somthing alittle higher say a 2200-2300kv motor and just go back to running 4s and see what I can do with just prop mods, but again WHAT A RIDE,
have fun and learn from your mistakes.
