    Proboat 1500kv in UL-1

As the title says how would the proboat 1500kv motor work in the UL-1 with a m445 prop?

It would work, but boat will be slower than stock UL-1 and x442 prop.

You would have longer run times at lower speeds. It depends on what your goals are for the boat.

Not much, maybe mid 40s untill I can get another motor, I belive I burned up the 1800kv when running 5s and picked a plastic bag and over amped the esc. it died and I rearmed it and prop turned very slowly so the next day I checked all motor connections and they were good so I pluged the batterys back up and hit the throttle and the smoke came, and the motor stunk also and I think the rx fried to, not sure yet still need to try a few things, I hooked the 1500 kv motor to it with the 45amp proboat esc and nothing, so I think the rx is toast to, now I need to hook the pb rx to it and see what happens.

          G-Unit,

I did that last week. Short in the esc or something smoked the esc, rx and steering servo.... But the BEC still works. Go figure.....

I also picked up a plastic bag earlier in the summer. Craziest thing to see. The boat just rolled over 1.5 times in a split second. It was when I was coming out of a tight turn and went WOT and the thing ripped over like a wake-boarder doing a front side roll....and a half. Wish I had video...

But yeah, sucks to have all that stuff fry

          Ohhh, but that smell...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
