    Put 5.5's on the esc end and run 2 x 2S/5000 mah/30C Lipo's in series.

            Hey sorry to hear that you are having problems with you UL-1 I have mine totally stock never change plug connectors and never change the prop but I am using 2S lipo batteries and I am going to try and use 34S lipo batteries you might just have a small glitch with your boat and when you find it you just might be surprise as to what your boat will do, by going with better batteries and changing your pitch and your rudder your UL-1 will fly. keep in contact and let me know what you found out about your boat.

              I have since changed the way I organize the connectors to "red hot female", the red wires from the batteries are female bullets.
