UL-1 Superior Driveshaft liner substitute ??

Hello everybody. I have a sweet UL-1 Superior. I need to replace the teflon driveshaft liner. Aquacraft part #AQUB7869 .150 sized.

I was wondering if anybody knows of a good substitute, that can be used ???
If so let me know. Thanks

I have successfully used the water line sold at home depot, etc. As I recall, there is one size that accommodates the .150 shaft perfectly. I never had a problem using it and it is cheap! I no longer us teflon liners. I now run directly in the brass stuffing box. Less drag and shafts seem to last longer for me. I make my stuffing tubes out of the next size bigger than the shaft. You don't want too big a tubing as the shaft can "slap around" in there!

Sweet, Thanks. I was thinking I might be able to get away with that h2o line, but I wasn't sure. Do you get your brass tubes from the home depot, lowe's etc ?. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

You're gonna have to get the brass tube from a hobby shop. My local ACE hardware also carries 12" lengths.
