Wet Motor

I haven't ran my boat in 4 or 5 days and last night I removed the motor for the first time since owning to re-solder a billet and noticed water had spilled out when handling. What do I need to do to protect the motor from corrosion?

Water won't hurt it but can rust the bearings. Spray it down inside with Corrosion X
