    installing cooling jacket in ul-1

i just purchased from ose the cooling jacket made for the ul-1. ose shipped it promptly, and it looks very good. it seems to be a very tight fit. i don't want to apply brute force and know there must be a right, best way to get it on the motor.

can someone tell me that they believe is the correct way to install it? use a little grease maybe?

    thanks!

You have to use some grease or a bit of thin machine oil works as well , if you dont lube the o'rings you might damage them ...

I rub engine oil on the can and o rings and slip the jacket on.

I had a hard time also on a feg motor what I ended up doing is lightly sanding a radius into the sharp corner of the motor I use a 1" belt sander with 400 grit and was oh so gentle
