    Ul1?

I;m thinking of getting rid of my traxxas summit to put towards a new ul1..I have a pretty big retaining pond behind my house which is perfect...are these decent for just blasting around?

As long as you only want to turn right...its probably the best boat around in a RTR package.

These are fun fast little buggers. Straight out of box I was running 40mph. With the Octura x440 2 blade I was 43.8mph. Just ran her over the weekend with the Grimracer 40 x 57 3, and in windy/choppy conditions ran a 48.7mph. I'm hoping on a flat calm day she'll hit the 50+ mark.

      I just re-skinned her, here's a pic...

Those would be fine. I use a set of Turnigy 2s 20c 5000mah and a set of Turnigy 2s 40c 5000mah. So your good to go.

I like the summit I just don't run it that much so was gonna use the money to fund a FE...I had a BJ 26 but it kept granading my promatch 6 cell nimh's batts...maybe bad esc or something...is the ul-1 pretty trouble free? Is this the best boat for the money outta all the FE's? Do I need a lipo programmer or is it set up outta the box?

Yep, do that. You can get the Turnigy 20c 5000mah at a good price. 40c's for that extra bit of juice too.

The amp amount the batts can deliver was my reason for the higher c rating. A 40c 5000mah has twice the amp amount as a 5000 20c...

Ok my traxxas summit is on fleebay...so gonna buy the ul-1 and I think a zigzag racer/recovery boat..the zigzag racer did a good job pushing my bj26 back to land wit the bumper...I know it's not the boating season but I lreally like the look of the ul-1 and my summit money should cover the bill for both boats:)
