    newb ul1 questions

just took my ul1 out today and had a few questions ,
and with a m445 prop it got on plane straight away ,no submarine effect

when you adjust strut where do you mesure 1 inch from ive attached pic is this right way of measuring to bottom of strut adapter that attaches to boat ??

and do you need to readjust for different props as i also have grim 40/52 and grim 40/57 i want to try will you need more strut over 1 inch with the higher pitch or less than 1 inch .

also my boat was doing a bit of left right movement ,is this the chime walking thing ??
how do you prevent it ?
note it was not up and down it was left right and when going full speed .

From table top to bottom of hull close to strut (as you have it now) to measure the strut depth. Only part of the boat that should be touching the table is the back portion of each sponson and the bottom of the strut. Rudder should hang off the back of the table and turn fin off the edge as well. Only the 3 ride point should touch. Yes it's chine walk try avoid crossing your own wake when the boat starts to get it back off the throttle to settle it down. You can try a straight turn fin, you may loose speed because your loosing a little lift, I splayed my batteries throught the sponson which helped a little or you can get crazy and make new ride pads. http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ead.php?t=8304
