Setting throttle trim ?

I know that you need to set the thr trim to about 3:00 position to arm the esc,
but after arming do you rotate the trim counter clockwise till the prop just starts to turn and leave it there, other wise the prop just runs without touching the throttle, is this correct?

Yeah, just back off the trim until she stops turning and you got it.
