ul 1 superior radio questions

i just picked up the boat at the end of december, and havent really tried running it till now,

with the batteries plugged in, and the radio on, the onlt response that i get is from the rudder. with the throtle nailed (the motor does nothing), and a little red light on the receiver goes from flashing to solid and the rudder works as it should.

with no throttle applied the rudder only turns left, and twitches vigerously. while the light on the receiver flashes.

any suggestions?

batteries are 5000mah 20c lipos

Did you check the wires going into the ESC and make sure they are in all the way? How about the trim on the controller? Is the throttle control on R?

the trhottle is indeed reversed, and the trim for the throttle does seem to make a difference for whe the light is on as opposed to blinking, the more power i give it, the less it has a tendancy to blink

Turn throttle trim all the way up

also the throttle should be on R

Make sure throttle is in slot 2 and steering in slot 1 and make sure wires aren't reversed in the rx.

The esc is not arming. Put the trim knobs towards the neutral (12 o'clock) until you hear the single beep then pull the trigger until the beep beep beep goes. Also adjust the steering trim to neutral (12 o'clock position).

now it just beeps two times real quick as opposed to the one (squeeze throttle), one (release throttle) then three that its supposed to. i am beginning to think the esc is not functioning as it should and to send it back to hobby services
