what would be some obvious signs of flex shaft problems?

ok, since i ran my hydro on 2x 3s 3500mah 40c (22v) in series i fried my seaking 120 amp esc. some say this could be due to flex shaft binding. can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to look for as far as signs of wear, damage, etc. on the drive shaft? thanks! i will post pics upon request.

k here are some pis that i took. they were taken from my camera phone. and a pic of my baby

1st pic- collet area. as you can see its very smooth due to rubbing. (is that bad?)

2nd pic- middle area of flex shaft (looks perfect)

3rd pic- just after the strut area (looks very smooth and shiny just like the collet area (is that bad?)

4th pic- penzoil marine grease (is that bad?)

5th pic- my aquababy :)

It hard to tell by the picture, but It look like one part of the shaft is very worn down. Is that correct?

Thats a 4s motor do not run 6s.

thats the thing, i dont know if this is normal wear on flex shafts

both ends have the same wear.
