    how do i fill two small drilled holes on ul1 superior transom?

    guys i totally made a mistake and need to patch up 2 small drilled holes. (same size as the water inlet-outlet predrilled ones) i drilled them right next to them in fact. whats a fast easy reliable way to git her done? thanks.

    Since it's a double hull plug it with wood dowel and epoxy over them.

      hey prop master, thanks alot....hey im a real rookie here, would you mind tellin me whats a wood dowel? and where can i find that??

        Its a wooden rod available in different diameters. Hobby shop or craft stores. Cut it to length needed.

            Most neighborhood Hardware stores will carry wooden dowl rods too...

            Ace, TrueValue, Lowes, Home Depot..... etc....

                ok so two wood dowell rods, stick them in and glue them? or lightly press them in? then grind them to flush with transom? then a rectangular piece of fiberglass?. im all ears. any better ideas on installing the rods? .i made a dumb move...its kool though. hey u guys see that hairline crack? does that mean ?

                  i might be confusing it for somethin else. but to me it looks like a thin crack spreading. geez does this mean my hull is going to crack? hope its not uncommon. u guys have or had any of these without further issues??

                    I would drill out the holes to the proper sized wooden dowel rod. You want this to be a tighter fit rather than lose. Leave a little sticking out on either side and use some thin super glue on each end where the wood dowel meets the hull. After the glue has dried SAND (don't grind) down the extra sticking out. Lastly, I would hit the wood dowel with some more super glue. That will help seal the bare wood.
