new to ul1

i want to buy a ul1 and was thinkin of hoppin it up ,whats a good leopard motor i can use on 4s with a seaking 180 esc ,and what prop is good for this combo the grimracer 3 blade ??

and can these boats go full pelt and turn and stay in the water or do the ride completly out of water ?? ..

how do they perform with only prop upgrade ,or do they need motor upgrade too ?? ,any help appreciated

and if you upgrade motor do you need to fix shft ect or is stock one ok with better motors ??

Prop is all you need - Octura M445 does very well.

Keep in mind that UL-1's only turn well to the right.

so prop upgrade ,all thats required ,do you run on 4s ,5s or 6 and if esc only rated to 4s can u do just esc upgrade and run on 6s ??? and cause of the turn fin and there oval racers you can go full pelt right hand turns .....??

The motor is a 4S motor....how fast are you trying to go? Low 50's is about max this hull can take before becoming a handful.

my seaking 120 esc just arrived.....im running a grim 3 blade.....i hope these ecs's are worth it! cuz they are dirt cheap!!!!

The Turnigy/Seakings are good but a cap bank sure helps.

pelt is just a saying full pelt same as full throttle full gas ,full stick all i mean is with esc at maximum full speed ..

A STOCK ..motor and speed controller and a Prather 215 / or x642 and a pair of 5000mh 30-40c batteries and hold on!!!!! youre going for a ride.......HAVE FUN!!
