what if you changed angle from 90 and started bending it back twords 45 a little by little?

I just tape a drinking straw across the full length of the tunnel to my shovelnose hydro and it makes a huge difference keeping her on the water.

Hey Chief, could you post a pic of the straw installed? Thanks. I am thinking about using a small dia. carbon fiber tube.
