all i have left now is a hyperion 35c 5000 and a turnigy 25c 5000. i hooked them up today together and boy did it rip. almost sounds like the motor is spinning too fast. kind of like an insane sound. does that sound wrong or funny to anyone. should i not do that. any comments and suggestion is greatful. thanks

You really shouldnt run simliar batteries that have a different discharge rate. The weakness is the pack with the lowest C rating. Its going to be the one that can be damaged. Now if all your doing is proving a setup change or hardware mod then as long as its not for more then a few seconds its probably ok. But this is where tolerance for rule bending comes about and it can lead to catastrophe if you make such things a habit. Its better to use binding rules and not push things.

So, if you wire in series your set is safe to 25 C (125 Amps) and if you wire them in parallel your set is safe to 50 C (250 Amps). If you pull more amps you will damage the small pack - but then you could consider it as the "fuse"Comment
