    ul-1 prob- help?

i ran my ul-1 last week, ran good then stopped dead in its tracks, i thought the lipo cuttoff made it quit so i just stuck some batterys in it to make sure it ran (didnt put it back in the water) ,, so this week i put it in the water and it went about 50 feet and stopped again, so now only when it has a load on it,, it breaks up and spit and spudders at 1/4 throttle, so, i put a temporary 50amp ESC in it to see if my ESC went bad, but it does the same thing, (spits and spudders), at 1/4 throttle only with a load on it, out of the water it revs up, the motor has no burn smell or sign's of over heating, also if it quits and i disconnect then reconnect the battery's it start's working again but it still does the same thing,,, any idea'

Check your motor wire connectors. Sometimes they will become unsoldered and disconnect under load. Replace with beefier bullet connectors or hardwire the connections.

Get rid of the deans as well.I have 5.5mm bullets on the batteries and motor side too.Much better than deans.I havent melted any deans yet,but once they got black, its time to move to bullets.Makes the whole system more reliable.
