Mine stocker works good.Never had any problems with it.I have not tried any different mounts in it though. How is your bending?Did you cram a Little Screamers in it?

Try it.I dont know if there is some sort of metal block inside the hull for the motor mount. If there is,you could try tapping it bigger and using bigger bolts maybe?Or you could install an aftermarket mount which would be cool, and more reliable.Be sure to bond it well to the hull and fill in the stock mount holes.(You probably knew that anyway). If you do go with a different mount, post a pic.

def will. i hoping someone else on here has done it without issue. i got a mount that will go right in no problem. then i figured i have a piece of octura flex cable, i could put that in. it seems tighter than the stock flex shaft, the stock flex has alot of play

I bought the Etti mount to do the same thing, but it leaves no room for the batts...If you find one that works, let us know!

so i mounted this one. works mint. i run my batteries all the way up front so it left plenty of room for them. but you could still fit the batteries on the sides of this mount. its tight but it will work. heres a couple of pics
