Has anyone tried the 38X63 2 Blade ??

My local hobbie shop only has a few Grimracer props a 38X63 2 blade or the 40X52 3 blade which one would be better ?? Thanks Phil

I believe the 38x63 Grimracer prop is essentially an ABC H-4. Not sure about that... Quite a bit more pitch than the 40x52... "Better" would depend on your setup, but it should be a faster prop in general.

      Darin,

      Actually it's the 42 X 66 that is an H4. Its a much different blade profile than the 38 X 63

      Phil,

I think I ran the 38 X 63 once or twice. I don't recall it beeing "the ticket" for me. It's a small diameter, but BUNCH of pitch. I would be careful and monitor your temps to make sure it's not too much for the power system. The 40 X 52/3 comes highly recommended and an excellent compromise between perfomace and amp draw.

      Later,
      Mike

That's right... sorry for the mis-information... I can't quite keep all that conversion straight yet...
