I ran my ul-1 last night and i really didntot see any water shooting out the back. The water lines on the motor are both on the same side. I took the rudder tube of and blu thru it and water squirt out. Should I hook the water lines up different.

After a run is your motor or controller hot? That will tell you if the cooling systems is working correctly. Was there any water inside the hull after a run? That will tell you if the system is leaking... As long as your not leaking, the motor isn't hot, and the controller isn't hot there is no need to re-route anything.

In the stock configuration it's tough to see the water exiting the cooling tube.

The motor was hot but I ran 2 sets of batteries right after another. That was not good to do. On the second run after 7 laps the boat stop. Then would go then stop go and stop. So I went and got the boat and I felt the motor was hot.
      Thanks

What you can do is take a 1" peice of brass tubing and make a 90* bend slide it in the outlet line so it sticks up. Now you will be able to see the water comming out.
