        25c will be plenty as well. www.hobbyking.com a octura x440/3 is an excellent all around prop.

            25c or 35 or 40c. Does it matter with these batteries? Maybe it is a stupid question but? Will all of these batteries fit?

              It's the discharge rate. A 40c will perform better than a lower rate. To make it easy on youself stick to 4000mah+ and 25c+ and you'll be ok.

              All the batteries I have listed will fit. I own/use most of them in my ul.

                Buy the largest capicity (up to 5000 mah) and the highest "C" rating your willing to spend.

                25C = Good
                35C = Better
                40C = Best

                3700mah = Good
                4000mah = Better
                5000mah(+) = Best

                I think you get the idea... Always keep an eye on those temps during long runs.

                Later
                Mike

                    This is one of those cases where you rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. Point being the esc will use as amps as it needs from the battery. Amp rating on the esc is continuaous amount of amps from the motor the esc can handle, not the batteries. For batteries more amps the batts can provide the better, it's less straining on the electrics. Hopefully that makes sense. Welcome to boating!

                        I like the Grim l40x57, it's a lifter prop though so your stuck using it on hydros only.

                          Thanks, honestly it's only slightly faster than the stock set-up. I have A LOT of work to do on it and a lot of prop testing to do.

                              40c is not needed. My UL-1 has reached speeds of 50mph using 25c Hyperion lipos. These compact Hyperion 25c 2s 5000mah packs are perfect size, but more expensive.
