    help with motor won't work

so i got my new batteries hyperion 5000mah 35c the other day but the problem is that the last time i ran my boat a couple weeks ago i left the batteries connected after i was done. A couple days later i disconnected them and the batteries were shot (dead). So i got new batteries but when i connect them it only beeped once. the rutter would turn but the motor budge. can anyone tell me why. i am lost. also the batteries are charged too. is it the batteries because i don't think so or is it the motor. maybe its the ESC or the reciver. i just don't know. thanks

Yea try the arming first and formost.

Yea that's not good to do, unhappy lipo's =

Maybe voltage going to the rx that long fried it, try a different rx and make sure everything is correctly hooked up. Check for loose wires and make sure everything is soldered good. If you have another or spare rx laying around I would start their. I don't think it would be the motor, i would guess 1) rx, 2) esc 3) motor, but I could be 110% wrong because I'm still kinda new myself. Also I DO NOT recommened, but I have disconnected my motor and grabbed 2 leads and connected them to a battery to see if I had a bad motor or not. It's not the best way too do things the esc puleses/alternates signal to the motor (whatever you call it, im not getting specific) and directly connecting to battery does not do that. When I did it was very quick touch just too see if the motor would jump.

i did try arming it but there is no beep, beep, beep. and that's where i'm stuck at. maybe it;s the reciver. i don't know how it went bad because everything was just working fine the last time i ran it a couple weeks ago. So if it is that does anyone know where i can get a stock one. thanks for the help guys.

yeap, i tried that too. only the rutter works but still no motor rotation. do you guys think my esc is bad. the light on the rx is on is i think thats fine because the rutter works so i'm thinking its the esc.

Check the bullet connectors. Maybe lose or bad connection.

BTW to check if the channel 2 is working plug in your servo to it. If it respond to the throttle input it's not your receiver.
