        Only 4 or 5 minutes ? Wow
I thought lipos would outlast regular batteries ?

Electrics are like a tug of war with power on 1 end of the rope and runtime on the other, the more power you want the less runtime you get and the more runtime you want the less power you get. You could set it up for 20 mins runtime but it wouldn't be as fast as the guy that sets up for a 4 minute run and most people here like speed, from what I have seen of the SV27 though under about a 6 min run is going to be pretty flighty and like the tortoise and the hare fable you may overtake when the 4 minute guy is upside down.

Trucks are cars aren't nearly under the amount friction and drag that boats need to overcome. It's a lot easier to hit 40+ in a 4 wheel vehicle then it is in a boat. If your going to extend your runtime watch your temps. I run around 4-5 minutes and thats enough for me. I only ever hit the lvc once in my ul-1 and have yet too on my SV, I try to avoid running my batts that low.

OK. Let's think here. A 25' boat with 1000hp could do 100mph easy.
A car with 1000 HP should be good for 250 mph plus if the aero is right. Maybe even faster.

It is all about amp draw. RC cars 45 amps maybe. Boats RTR 80 amps.
My Open boats 150 amps plus. All to go 60 to 80 mph for 2 minutes.
