As much as I am a fan of that blade profile it’s just not as good as a cleaver on a sport hydro.

Its a much better outrigger prop.

You can tune it out but it will lift hard..

Try the new ABC 1518 3 blade or the ABC H-10. Set the strut deep 1 1/16" - 1 3/16"

Here is a link to an ABC prop chart. The 1518/3 may work but the H10 is way to much prop.

              wow, that 1518/3 looks sweet!
              lots of pitch
but why such a deep strut?
this could be a killer prop when I run 5s

My H-10 measures 2 mm smaller than advertised (44mm vs. 46.5). H-10 will work if your UL-1 hull has the newer ESC with larger cap. Be sure to change out those cheap/thin 4mm motor connectors for larger/thicker 5.5mm bullets.

If your too skeered to use the H-10 step it down to either the H-2, H-4, H-5. I think the H-7 is too large.

what speeds are you getting with the H-10?

I have not checked speed, but UL-I is faster using H-10. Setting the strut deeper will help sponsons run wetter and make boat more stable at higher speeds. Keep hull moving and DO NOT do a lot of stop and go driving if you want your esc to live. Keep your hull weight low by using lighter weight lipos. I like the small Hyperion 2s1p 25c 5000mah packs.

The stock UL-1 is capable of over 50mph using the right prop and good SMOOTH water conditions

BTW...check your stock drive cable for wobble by rolling on glass (glass stove top). If it wobbles at soldered joint/shaft replace it for one that doesn't wobble. OSE sells good ones, but I have mine custom made with longer bearing shafts.

                      Right on Detox!
I have gotten my UL-1 to 51mph with a S220, strut at 15/16" and small chop
I have yet to get a good full speed pass with my Turningy 5000mah 30c packs, but they flippin rip in my Revo!
thanks for the info on the strut depth, I will be moving my lower
I hope to break 60mph on 5s soon
