I just purchase a ul-1 , I want to know what lipos are good for the ul-1 for top speeds and what prop i shoul put. Another question is the person that had the boat took out the water jacket i whant to put a after market jacket on.

My suggestion would get lipos with the highest C rating, and the largest capicity you can afford. However, don't get any thing below 20C and 3700 mah.

Oh yeah, you wanted to know about props. For now, I would recommend the stock prop, a Aquacraft 40X52/3, or a Octura X440/3. All of the props listed are near the same, they offer great performance and lower stress on the electrics. I would also recommend reading up on installation of an additional capicitor on your controller!!! Do that before you run the boat.

When you look at the lipos make sure you get ones that are not too long to fit between motor mount and front of boat

Be sure to add extra capacitor to protect esc.

The octura m440, x442, or Grimracer L40x57/3 props are fast

I ran the Hyperion 5500mah, 35C. Great batts!!! Tons of punch!!! Highly recommeded. I put my Orion 30C's in for fun and it was NO comparison. Advantage definitely Hyperion. Have Fun!!
