Hmmmmm, the Lucas Oil definitely needs it. My boat goes 50 mph pretty much stock except with a UL-1 2030kv motor, upgraded flexshaft and Octura 642 prop.
However, blowing over at 50 mph, that hull didn't handle it well, breaking a seem on the hull almost all the way across.
I am using a custom made airdam, just a shortened piece for the UL-1, which has helped prevent future blow overs. I am curious about how effective this one is though.Comment
