    Prop questions

I have a completely stock MC, I know I have to adjust my center of gravity and strut but wanted to know what prop you guys think is best for my stock setup. I have 640,440 2 blade and 3 blade 440, also have a 445. I don't have a 442. Also all of my props are balanced and sharpened but they all have the tounges on them. Does de-tounging make that much of a difference?

    Thanks for your help

The x445 will give good speed and decent run times, but check for high temps in warmer months. Removing the tongue will make a small difference, you probably won't notice on your setup without a GPS.

That is how I am testing, with a GPS, I'm sure it is slowing me down bc of the weight of it but it gives me the most accurate readings of my setup. I have a balancer coming so you recommend removing the tounges? What would you say the temps should be with the 445? Thanks for your help

Temps also depend on run time, air and water temperatures. Be certain to check temps as soon as possible since components cool off rapidly. On a sport setup once you get above 140F you are too hot.

Ok great, thanks again. Have you ever tried a 3 blade? I have a few of them too, just curious how they will work
